Ducks ptII
Today my ride was made complete when I saw the (it looked like the same duck
;p) mother duck and her ducklings at the same spot, just on the
other side of the creek.

Ducks
For the last week or so, when riding to/from ANU, I've been attacked (for some
value of attacked) by a mother duck, protecting her very cute ducklings.
Yesterday, the grass was mown, today no ducks! I hope they moved on.

On Assignments
In a recent algorithms lecture it was proven that procrastination is the best
way of scheduling work (well when you know the payoff, deadlines and
have a good estimate of the running time). That
certainly explains how it got to be the weekend before my draft thesis is due
and I'm still writing it. I don't mean finessing it :-(. It seems I
failed to grasp the point about having a good estimate.
Bah! enough self-pity time to knuckle down
